Common Questions

Everything you need to know about our ingredients, texture, and how to get Lowke delivered to your door.

Are they soft or crunchy?

Neither, actually. We aim for a texture closer to a truffle than a traditional cookie. They are dense and fudgy with a molten center. Because we use almond flour and real butter, they have a luxurious mouthfeel that melts away rather than crumbles.

Why do you recommend eating them chilled?

It sounds unusual for a cookie, we know! But because our dough is rich in healthy fats (from almonds and butter), the texture is at its absolute peak when cold. It gives you that signature "snap" on the outside and a fudgy chew on the inside.

How are they sweet with 0g sugar?

We use a proprietary blend of Allulose and Monk Fruit. These are natural, plant-based sweeteners that don't spike blood glucose levels. This allows us to achieve that deep, satisfying sweetness without the chemical aftertaste of artificial alternatives.

Are they gluten-free?

Yes. We do not use any wheat flour. Our base is 100% nutrient-dense almond flour. However, please note that we bake in a facility that may process other wheat products, so we advise caution for those with severe celiac disease.

How long do they last?

Because we don't use artificial preservatives, we treat Lowke cookies like fresh food. For the best experience, we recommend keeping them refrigerated and enjoying them within 3–4 days. If you'd like to save them for later, they can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Can I leave them out at room temperature?

While they are safe to enjoy at room temperature, they will become very soft due to the high butter content. To maintain our signature fudgy texture and ensure peak freshness, we strongly recommend keeping them chilled until you're ready to eat.

Where do you deliver?

We are currently shipping exclusively within California. We are working hard to finalize our logistics for the rest of the country, so stay tuned—we will be opening up to nationwide shipping very soon!

When will my order ship?

We bake and ship orders Monday through Wednesday. We avoid shipping later in the week to ensure your cookies don't sit in a transit warehouse over the weekend. You will receive an email with tracking info as soon as your label is created.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination address and delivery speed selected. We offer standard and expedited options to ensure your treats arrive fresh.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. However, we want you to be happy! If there is an issue with your order or it arrived damaged, please email us immediately so we can make it right.
